So this time, we've had guests from the former USSR visiting us here in Israel, and most of the day involved showing them around Tel-Aviv, whether it's just places around the city, or the animal reserve at the Tel-Aviv University (TAU).

Evidently, Skie was the only person in the pack who didn't speak Russian...

Furmeet, 27-28 March, 2013

This was one of the nicer meets. We were 7 at most.

Furmeet, 3-4 March, 2011

Our fifth furmeet was small - only four furries, but that doesn't mean we didn't have enough fun to make all those who didn't attend envy.

It started with a dog's broken phone trip and ended with a drive rush to get furs on time for their last bus home. We watched movies and mongrels, played Portal and ate a lot of cake, errr I mean good food, including the famous Anubis (we got rid of two Anubisvirgins on the way)

After a successful and record-breaking gathering last year, it was time for yet another one! Dogtail's new apartment made it especially convenient for us. As with the last one, this furmeet broke its own record with a total attendance of 9! Our newest guests were BunnySoul, Cerberus and Dolphin who drive all the way from Eilat to check it out!

Circumstances allowed me to bring a projector this time, which was used on one of the many white walls to browse through Skie's content and watch some clips, that thanks to our limited internet access from our friendly neighborhood with open WiFi routers!

Other activities included a game of Poker, pizza, terrorizing the neighbors with Jumpstyle music, showcasing of dogtail's new tablet, some comics that were present at the place and trying to navigate around Tel-Aviv with a GPS when we went to pick up BunnySoul and Nymphox - something that proved to be rather complicated with the way GPS program worked. The traditional clubbing night was also there, including the celebration of Nymphox's birthday! PK apparently wanted to come too, but we somehow lost phone contact with him after he arrived at the station...

Overall, it was fun and we've settled for yet another such meet in half a year. Hopefully by then, even more local furries will join in and yet another record will be broken!

Furmeet, 20-21 October, 2008

October 2008 furmeet photo (small)

The first ever Israeli Furmeet was on 20-21.10.2008. Hosted at Skie's house, a total of 8 furries have attended. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time. I would like to express my gratitude to one persistent dog, without whom such a feat wouldn't have been possible. So thank you dogtail, co-organizer and chairman of the furmeet :)
